How can I make an appointment? You can call us at (802)497-0690 or contact us through this contact form!
-
Where are you located? We are located at 20 Kimball Ave, Suite 204 in South Burlington, Vermont. Our building is wheelchair accessible, and ADA compliant, and our suite is located on the first level. If you need any assistance entering the building, please relay this to your therapist prior to your appointment so that we may assist you.
-
Do I need a referral? In the state of Vermont, you do not require a referral from your physician to attend physical therapy. However, some insurance companies (such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare) do require a referral prior to a physical therapy appointment. Call your insurance company to confirm their individual policy.
-
What kind of insurance do you accept? We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid, United, and MVP. Please call us if you have a question regarding insurance acceptance.
-
How much will physical therapy cost?Out of pocket costs for patients are dependent upon your individual insurance plan. While some insurance plans require you to pay a copay at the conclusion of each visit, others require you to pay the full cost of your visit until you reach a deductible amount. Please call your insurance company to confirm what your individual costs might look like.
-
What will my first appointment be like?At your initial physical therapy appointment, you will discuss your concerns and relay your story to your physical therapist. After collecting all pertinent subjective information, your physical therapist will guide you through the physical examination to assess your movement quality and any deficits that may be present. Your physical therapist will use the information obtained from your evaluation to formulate a clinical judgment as to your prognosis and appropriate treatment interventions. A rehabilitation program will be developed based upon the problems identified and your own personal goals.
-
What should I wear? Please wear clothing that is comfortable, and allows access to the part of the body being treated. For example, if being seen for shoulder pain, consider wearing a tank top. If being seen for knee pain, a pair of shorts would be best. Of course, always wear whatever you are comfortable in, and let your therapist know if you have any questions or concerns.
-
How long are appointments? At Rehab Zone Physical Therapy, we block off 60 minutes just for you! There are no co-treatments with other patients, and you will never work with an aide or assistant. While some sessions might take 45 minutes, we typically will use the entire hour.
-
How long will I need to attend physical therapy? As each patient’s injury is different, so is their rehabilitation! While some patients may only require 1-2 visits, others may attend therapy for 3-4 months to see the results that they desire. You can talk with your physical therapist about your expectations for the duration of treatment.
-
What office policies should I be aware of?1) If cancelling within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, or if you do not arrive for a scheduled appointment, you will be charged a $50 late cancellation fee. 2) Payment is due at time of service: your co-pay (if applicable) will be collected at the end of your session.
