Michael's Story
Originally from the East Coast, Michael received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from NYC’s Hunter’s College of Health Sciences in 2011. From his early career he focused on combining effective manual therapy with quality movement and exercise principles. He has completed numerous Functional Manual Therapy courses while also developing skills in Myofascial Release and Functional Range Release techniques. Michael has been a committed student of Tai Chi Chuan since 2004 while investigating other innovative movement approaches that inspire his interest.
Over the last several years Michael worked, owned his own private practice and pursued the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization approach in Los Angeles. Michael became a certified DNS Exercise Trainer in 2020 and plans to complete the practitioner certification in August of 2023 in Prague, Czech Republic. In May 2022 he moved to Charlotte, VT to be with his loving partner Bethany and two beautiful children.
Michael is excited to join The Rehab Zone and serve the Burlington area. He offers skillful hands-on treatment strategies with active exercise and movement based on The Prague School’s Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization approach to breathing, core and postural system reeducation. These principles are designed to get the whole body doing its job while creating the best environment for pain relief, healing, and improved performance. He has worked successfully with athletic injuries, acute and chronic pain syndromes, surgical, older adult and recreational athlete populations.
